Dialogue Mechanism of Civil Society Organizations for the MIRPS

Since its creation, the MIRPS has relied on the participation of civil society. Through the establishment of the Dialogue Mechanism of Civil Society Organizations, the objective of facilitating regional dialogue between the governments of the MIRPS countries and civil society was formalized, allowing organizations to contribute their experience and knowledge in various areas of interest.

Through this dialogue, the mechanism fosters collaboration among all stakeholders to provide protection and seek durable solutions for forcibly displaced in the region.

Organize regular meetings to exchange information and good practices among civil society organizations.

Participate in executive sessions on relevant MIRPS topics.

Develop specific objectives and products in the working groups to advance the priorities established by the MIRPS.

Give visibility to forced displacement in the region, leveraging the regional scope of the civil society organizations network.
