The purpose of the Special Law for the care and comprehensive protection of people in situations of internal forced displacement is to recognize, guarantee, and protect the fundamental rights of persons in situations of internal forced displacement and those who are at risk of being displaced, through the establishment of preventive procedures and an efficient care system with a humanitarian approach that includes durable solutions.
