Regional Twinning Meeting

May 4th and 5th, 2022

The Regional Twinning Meeting brought together asylum authorities from MIRPS countries and MIRPS Support Platform members who expressed interest in twinning arrangements to strengthen asylum systems in Central America and Mexico.

This meeting will result in concrete twinning projects and agreements that respond to countries’ immediate and long-term asylum needs. The progress and results stemming from these projects will be presented at the MIRPS Support Platform Solidarity Event in June 2022, to highlight the progress and commitment to strengthening asylum systems in the region.
