MIRPS Support Platform International Solidarity Event
September 21st, 2022
As the current Chair of the MIRPS Support Platform, the Government of Canada, is co-hosting with the United States an International Solidarity Event to Strengthen Protection and Promote Solutions for Forcibly Displaced Persons and Host Communities in Central America and Mexico.
The event will take place on the margins of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York City. It will be the culmination of Canada’s Chairmanship of the Support Platform and the transition to the United States as the incoming Chair.
