The Technical Meeting with the National Commissions for Refugees (CONAREs) and their equivalents in the Americas was held on October 15 and 16 in Panama City.<\/p>\n
This event represented the joint efforts of the government of Costa Rica, as 2024 Pro-tempore Presidency of the Quito Process, and the government of Belize, as 2024 MIRPS Pro-tempore Presidency. In coordination with the Government of Panama as host of the event, and in technical coordination with the Governments of Brazil and Mexico as thematic leaders in asylum systems for the Quito Process and the MIRPS.<\/p>\n
